Hollywood Chefs

Phuket has a number of great restaurants and these are being added to every month as more and more top quality chefs and restaurant owners recognize the opportunity that the island offers.

The latest addition to the list is Chef to Hollywood stars Daniel Isberg who has been on call for the last 10 years to the likes of Brad Pitt, Britney Spears and Cameron Diaz and is changing the glamor of Tinsel Town for the more sedate pace of Phuket. He will be working in the kitchens of the Surin Gate Hotel which is a small boutique hotel located on a small soi very near to Surin Plaza

Up until now the hotel has not been on the culinary radar but this should change very quickly as Chef Daniel is renowned for providing very high quality dishes at extremely reasonable prices and has said he wants to reinvent the culinary map here on Phuket. Dishes such as lobster cappuccino with Tiger Prawn Tempura will be offered for just 245 baht as well as caviar for 265 baht and escargot for 255 baht.

Chef Daniel is also planning every Tuesday to offer a 3 course meal for just 750 baht and giving everyone in Phuket the chance to taste a little bit of Hollywood.
